So guys here we are again. So we now know the basics of technical writing, and now on to the next part. We’ll look at tools, now as weird as it may sound you need some tools to create good technical content. Now we’ll split them into sections

Researching tools: Research is one the most essential part of creating content. You don’t want to write about something you don’t know about. So here are a few tools you can use to research. Research is fun, and when you do more you’ll fall in love with the process. Our old and trusted friends Google and Quora and many more. My teacher always said Google had all the answers and she was right. There is a whole course on technical writing so you can learn more guys

Note-taking tools: I think this is pretty self-explanatory: So here are a few I recommend Evernote(classic), Notion, Google docs, Ms. Word, and Visual Studio Code Are good authoring tools.

Now you may want to add some artwork, or drawing to your content. Imagine you were talking about how it won’t be easier for a snake to swallow an egg than a lion to eat a snake (I know my head hurts too, so I may need some illustration). So you can slap in an image or something more proper. here are a few drawing tools you may need SnagIt, Draw.io, and ExcaliDraw.

You may need to Edit your content, and check for plagiarism: You can use QuillBot, Hemmingway editor, and my personal favorite Grammarly.

Some publishing tools like Hashnode, Dev, Medium, and many others.

Now We have artificial Intelligence to help us in our quest, there are a few out there that can help us better. Check out The top 5 Best Ai's for Technical Writers.

Now I recommend you do your research find alternative tools, and better versions, and find out which works best for you. Find out which tool is in demand in the job market and we’re one step closer to that big job, that gig, and freedom. So that’s it, guys, until next time ciao,
