Hey guys, hope you’re feeling just as good as I am, so after the beautiful balon’dor ceremony, I was snooping about when I stumbled upon something, so is it a bird or a plane no it's Jira and his frequently talked about brother Confluence. Both developed by an Australian based company called Atlassian. So what is Jira? It's a proprietary issue-tracking product developed by Atlassian that allows bug tracking and agile project management. So those who don't know Bug tracking refers to the process of identifying and monitoring defects in products, prioritizing and fixing them. This is essential to delivering a product that meets the user's needs and stays ahead of the competition. So you track a product's defects and find ways to fix them. Jira Software is part of a family of products designed to help teams of all types manage work. Originally, Jira was designed as a bug and issue tracker. But today, Jira has evolved into a powerful work management tool for all kinds of use cases, from requirements and test case management to agile software development. So it allows you to track a product and its defects so you can fix them. Genius am I, right?
Here's a quick image of a Jira interface. What are the benefits of Jira? Jira enables teams to plan, track projects, release software, generate reports, and automate processes using a single platform. Jira offers visibility over ongoing projects, at any stage, by allowing you to track all activities, including issues and their updates, people assigned, team comments, and so on. JQL to filter issues based on criteria. Jira sidebar for immediate access to planning, releasing, tracking, and reporting. Jira can calculate time spent, work done, roadmap work, and cycle time. Now confluence. According to Atlassian themselves, Confluence is a collaboration wiki tool used to help teams to collaborate and share knowledge efficiently. With confluence, we can capture project requirements, assign tasks to specific users, and manage several calendars at once with the help of the Team Calendars add-on Confluence is a collaborative documentation tool, while Jira is primarily project management and issue-tracking software. They can be integrated with each other and used together, or they can be used separately. So there is it guys I wouldn’t want to ruin the fun for you guys so, check it out. It's becoming quite popular with Jobs and has become a requirement for some, so guys maybe it can help out. Later guys
